Cameron Outdoor in partnership with Aboriginal Employment Strategy is committed to increasing their Indigenous participation rate to 25 per cent by September 2017 on its NSW and ACT operations. By providing improved employment opportunities, Cameron Outdoor is able to contribute to ‘closing the gap’ in economic participation for Aboriginal people, in particular through better employment and career outcomes.
The Aboriginal Employment Strategy Ltd (AES) is a national not- for- profit Recruitment Company that has successfully operated since 1997. Their Vision is ‘a career opportunity for every Indigenous Australian’. In February 2017, the AES celebrates its 20th year of operation and over 20,000 job placements, and 2000 training and apprenticeships.
